Tanglin Cranberry Gin is a limited batch series for the festive season. Our task was to create a design that can live across three main festive seasons, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Chinese New Year. The design takes inspiration from all three of the festive occasions. As Singapore (the home base for its distillery) is a multi-cultural country, the design needs to be appealing to different cultures that celebrate these different occasions.

We used elements that each have their own, unique representations. The orchid represents the core botanical of the Gin, the cranberries are synonymous with Thanksgiving and Christmas, the fireworks are expressive visual cues for celebrations, and the hanging ornament symbolises Chinese New Year.
The different graphic elements all combine to complete an ornate decorative pattern that wraps around the label. The metallic red finish on the label is a flavour cue to the cranberry and an iconic colour to symbolise festive occasions.
